  1. Correspondence and Communication - Brittany Fremion, Chairperson 

  • In late June EPA communicated with CAG Treasurer Gary Smith about the VBP TAG extension. Gary is also working on the FPS TAG quarterly report and point person for our Technical Advisor (TA). 

  • On July 10th Marian Matyn, archivist at CMU’s Clarke Historical Library, provided an update on her team’s work to process CAG and PBB-related collections, particularly materials donated by Ed Lorenz and Jane (Keon) Jelenek. 

  • CAG officers have been in communication with the Michigan PBB Registry Leadership Team about their fall community meeting, which is tentatively planned for St. Louis, Michigan, on Saturday, November 7th. 

  • Since our last meeting, Doug Brecht shared news articles with the CAG Executive Committee related to AI data centers, US EPA and MI EGLE programs, and news coverage of farming challenges, PFAS regulations, and environmental health issues in the US.   

  • Update on website traffic - Ed Lorenz
