· Articles in the Morning Sun, Gratiot County Herald and Alma College newspapers about 50th anniversary of the PBB Disaster.

· Letter to Project Manager Tom Alcamo regarding questions and concerns about PSA 3 plan.

· Vice Chair Ed Lorenz interviewed on NPR regarding the train wreck in Palestine, Ohio and the PBB Disaster that began in St. Louis.

· Opinion piece in the New York Times from a former local resident comparing Palestine, Ohio, with St. Louis, Michigan.

· Article in Morning Sun about Vanessa Ogle, who wrote the NYT opinion piece.

New Business:

Vote for CAG Hall of Fame person

Members of the Executive Committee (our officers and board members) have met with the CAG Technical Advisor on three occasions to discuss documents for projects underway at the sites. Reports discussed so far: Potential Source Area 3 Investigation Work Plan (chemical oxidation); Quality Control Plan, Survey Plan and Confirmation Sampling Plan for PSA 1 & 2; Preliminary Design Report for Downgradient Vertical Barrier Wall.

Ongoing Business:

1. PBB Leadership Team Update – Jane Jelenek

· MDHHS/MPHI grant money situation/records incomplete

· Last group of blood draw samples

· Lab to begin analyzing 500 clinical trial samples

· Other studies underway: (PBB/ADHD, PBB/autoimmune disorders, PBB/menstrual cycle function, PBB/cardiovascular disorders, comparing 1976 and 1991 data)

2. PBB 50th Commemoration Update – Brittany Fremion, Ed Lorenz

Technical Advisor Report: Scott Cornelius, Cornelius Environmental Consulting, will give a presentation on the draft report from CH2M Hill to USEPA on the DGVBW (Downgradient Vertical Barrier Wall) to be built on the west side of the former plant site (FPS).

EPA Report Velsicol Site Updates: Tom Alcamo, Project Manager

EPA Report Burn Pit Site Update: Jennifer Knoepfle, Project Manager

EGLE Report: Erik Martinson, Project Manager
