CAG Volunteers Sort Velsicol Records

For the last two weeks volunteers from the Pine River Task Force have reviewed the content of boxes of Velsicol Chemical Co. records given to the City of St. Louis as part of the litigation that resulted in the company’s insurance paying for a new water system for the city. The volunteers reviewed all contents and are preparing a listing of box contents. Included are not simply textual documents, but old maps showing pipelines, wells, and other information related to the former plant site and burn pit.

To review the contents of the boxes please go to the Resources section of this website under Document Archive. There is a detailed listing of the files in the 40 boxes. The boxes are stored at St. Louis City Hall.
