· Letter from Healthy Pine River thanking us for our contribution to their upriver projects (May).

· Articles in the Morning Sun and Gratiot County Herald about the fish derby.

· Joe Scholtz Memorial Fishing Derby, June 7, 2025 – Gary Smith

· Doug Brecht shared regional and national news reports and popular media related to forever chemicals, CAFOs, and work at the Velsicol Superfund Sites.

· Letter of support for the PBB researchers for a grant application studying dementia and endocrine disrupters (late May).

· CAG officers took a prospective TAG candidate on a tour of the community in late May.

· The CAG received interim reports on May 30 and July 10, 2025, for our FOIA request to the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission for historical records related to radioactive waste at the FPS (submitted in October 2024; still in progress).

· Email to Adrian Palomeque requesting TASC advisor to review the radioactive documents on June 6; reply received June 10. Follow up email from CAG sent July 11, 2025.

· Letter to the State Land Bank requesting a letter from them stating their position on possible buried radioactive materials on the plant site (early June).

· In early June, CAG officers met with and arranged a tour of the FPS and VBP, as well as community, with a journalist interested in covering the ongoing cleanup and a recent publication on PBB long-term health studies. · EPA responded to CAG comments and questions about remedial work in OU3 on June 12, 2025.

· EPA shared written updates and photos of remedial work at the FPS and VBP on June 17, 2025 (no meeting due to federal holiday).

· Gary and Brittany are preparing the second TAG quarterly report for EPA, due at the end of July.

· Brittany Fremion will step down as CAG chairperson in December, at the end of her term. She plans to remain active in the group as part of the general membership.

· CAG elections will take place this fall. Nominations for Chairperson, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and three Executive Committee positions will be collected in November and voting will commence. Votes will be collected leading up to the December meeting and announced that evening. Please send your nominations for these leadership positions and provide short explanations for why you support the candidate(s) to Secretary Jane Jelenek (jelenekjane@gmail.com
