Agenda Oct. 15 Monthly Meeting
The next Monthly Public Meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 15, at 7:00 p.m. We will meet in person at St. Louis City Hall on Mill Street. For those unable to attend in person, please join the meeting via Zoom (Zoom directions at bottom of this page).

4. Communications:
· The CAG received a third interim report for our Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission for historical records related to radioactive waste at the former plant site (FPS) (submitted in October 2024; reports May 30, July 10, and September 30, 2025). The request is still in progress.
· SKEO (CAG TASC consultant) shared the OU4 NEBA Summary with our group on September 30, 2025.
· The CAG executive committee met on October 8th to discuss the OU4 NEBA review, TAG TA process, and future Technical Meetings.
· The CAG sent an official letter to EPA with questions about the OU4 NEBA on October 9, 2025.
· The CAG-funded adaptation of the PBB State of the Science article (June 2025) in the Kids is underway. The total cost to adapt, translate the article into Spanish, and create companion curriculum is approximately $2,500, which the CAG funded using its own money (not federal dollars).
· Doug Brecht shared regional and national news reports related to an EGLE e. coli mapping tool opportunities to engage with state and federal representatives, forever chemicals, and CAFOs.
· CMU Professor Richard Hayes is bringing the CAG and Velsicol Sites history into two of his classes again this semester. He hopes to take students on a tour of the Sites.

7. PBB Leadership Team update – Jane Jelenek, Norm Keon, Ed Lorenz
· CAG elections will take place this fall. Nominations for Chairperson, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and three Executive Committee positions will be collected until the November meeting and then voting will commence. Votes will be collected leading up to the December meeting and announced that evening. Only dues-paying members are eligible to vote in the election (annual dues are $5). Please send your nominations for these leadership positions to Secretary Jane Jelenek (jelenekjane@gmail.com
