· The CAG prepared and sent a letter to state and federal representatives on Monday, February 9th, re/introducing our organization and work to them. We encouraged them to attend one of our monthly meetings and consider taking a tour of the Superfund Sites when the weather warms.
· The CAG prepared and sent a letter to state and federal representatives to alert them of our concerns about the Downgradient Vertical Barrier Wall (DGVBW) Installation on Wednesday, February 11th.
· Since our last meeting, Doug Brecht shared news articles with the CAG Executive Committee related to community concerns, including coverage of the Great Lakes Bill signed into law, efforts to clean up PFAS-contaminated water, farms and phosphorus use, agricultural zoning cases, federal rollback of pollution policies (EPA), biodigesters, septic systems, and funding for Michigan AmeriCorps Programs.
· We seek help distributing the Science Journal for Kids article and companion curriculum for middle and high school students when it’s published.
